Now a Virtual Event
Dear DTC Colleague,
We tried hard to have an in-person DTC National Conference in 2020, hoping that by moving to the fall we would be over the worst. Unfortunately, COVID-19 persistence has made that impossible to do so safely. Therefore, we will convert the DTC National 2020 to a virtual event on Oct 20-21. We expect to have great speaker and panelist content, as well as present our Top 25 DTC Marketers of the Year, DTC Hall of Fame, and Advertising Awards. After all, great marketing and advertising is still being done and should be recognized.
We know that networking is a great benefit of being at an event site. We will offer some exciting opportunities to do that virtually. Although we will not be sharing dinner and cocktails, we will have an opportunity for attendees to get better acquainted and exchange ideas.
Our virtual programs this spring and summer have been well attended and Zoom has shown to be effective as a virtual meeting place. We are confident you will experience content that is highly educational. Most of you are still working remotely so we will bring the Uber Eats version of the DTC National to your door.
Optimism by CDC, NIH, and FDA over a vaccine becoming available late 2020 is strong and we are, therefore, confident we will see you in person April 2021 in Boston. I think of how proud all of us can be knowing the solution to this crisis is coming from our pharmaceutical companies.
I thank all of our colleagues who have supported DTC Perspectives over the years. This is our 20th anniversary year and, although not the type of anniversary we expected, we are doing our best to continue to support our industry. Please help us by registering for the Virtual DTC National 2020.
