When is the appropriate time in a product’s lifecycle to consider an Rx-to-OTC switch? Is an Rx-to-OTC switch always a viable lifecycle management option? There were five switched products in 2020, and one in 2021, after a fairly long period of few switches. This presentation will review the recent switches and delve into lessons learned from a regulatory and commercial perspective. The future of Rx-to-OTC switches within the self care landscape will also be explored.
