General Manager, Equelle, Pharmavite
Julie is a General Manager of women’s health at Pharmavite, a leader in the vitamin, mineral, and supplements industry for over half a century. Julie is a nearly 30-year veteran of the healthcare industry, with an extensive background of therapeutic and lifecycle expertise. Her tenure began in pharmaceutical marketing included her early years spent within the advertising agency sector, over a decade at Pfizer in roles of increasing leadership with the commercial organization, and several years spent building startup organizations, including Synergy Pharmaceuticals and Vyne Therapeutics. In her current role at Pharmavite, Julie leads the company’s Equelle business with additional focus on growing the women’s healthcare division by addressing unmet or underserved needs with disruptive and innovative non-prescription products.
Several of the marketing campaigns that Julie has developed in her career have been recognized with prestigious industry awards, and for her individual impact, Julie has been named a “Trailblazer Brand Champion” by PM360 magazine, a “Top 25 DTC Marketer,” and “Top Point-of-Care Marketer,” by DTC Perspectives Magazine, as well as a “Rising Star” by the Healthcare Businesswoman’s Association.
Julie has been as a guest lecturer on healthcare marketing at St. Joseph University and New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. She is a past board member and advisor for the Robert J. Leonard Foundation, and previously served as a team captain for the March of Dimes Southeastern Pennsylvania chapter. She and her family split their time between Bucks County, PA and Cape May, NJ.
