Senior Director Consumer Marketing, Dupixent, Sanofi
Danielle Washington is the Senior Director Consumer Marketing leading the consumer marketing strategy and execution for Asthma on Dupixent. In her role, Danielle activates consumers through the integrated “Du More” campaign to accelerate patient adoption of Dupixent. In efforts to address the needs of underrepresented asthma patients, the brand launched “Disfuta Mas,” the first in-language and in-culture DTC biologics campaign for Hispanics. Danielle brings a wealth of expertise in direct-to-consumer, digital & social, and health equity.
Outside of Dupixent, Danielle is helping to lead the U.S. roll-out of A Million Conversations, Sanofi’s initiative to address trust inequality within marginalized communities (ethnic minorities, women, LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities) who may have had a difficult experience with the healthcare system and lost trust in it and the persons who work in it.
Prior to joining Sanofi, Danielle led multicultural marketing for U.S. Adult Vaccines at Pfizer, focusing on disparities in vaccination in African American and Hispanic patient populations. Before joining the vaccines team, Danielle began her career at Pfizer Consumer Healthcare where she gained extensive consumer experience on the Robitussin® and Preparation H® brand teams.
In her free time, Danielle spends time “diversifying the mountain” by supporting minority participation in skiing and snowboarding. She holds an MBA from the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and an undergraduate degree from Kent State University.
