Vanessa is currently the VP, Group Account Director at Emcay, a leading multicultural agency that specifically specializes in the pharmaceutical industry. Vanessa’s extensive experience crosses General, Hispanic, Black American and Asian markets with an award winning track record supporting major pharmaceutical companies such as Novo Nordisk, Novartis, GSK, Johnson & Johnson, McNeil, AstraZeneca, Amgen, Eli-Lilly, and Boehringer Ingelheim.


Continuously evolving, Vanessa is an anthropologist at heart, with a passion for understanding cultures and market behavior. Her role in the pharma space, allows her to put into practice insightful knowledge that could make a positive impact in people’s lives, while driving strong revenue for her clients. 


Having lived on all three coasts and the Midwest, Vanessa casts a wide net of experience to effectively reach audiences across the US. She’s fully Bilingual (English/Spanish) & Bicultural and in addition to pharma, Vanessa has led breakthrough multicultural campaigns for Bank of America, Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep, Johnnie Walker, Lean Cuisine and Hulu Latino. Strategically managing cross-channel integrated tactics including Mass Media, Digital, Shopper Marketing and Direct Marketing.
