Director, Customer Promotion – Consumer
For the last two years, Terry has been Director, Customer Promotion – Consumer at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, focused on the IBS-C category-leading LINZESS brand. Before moving client side, he worked for 20+ years as an agency account management leader, with experience across a wide range of product categories and therapeutic areas.
Terry’s earliest forays into the Rx pharma world were leading agency teams for blockbuster brands from AstraZeneca (Nexium) and Lilly (Cymbalta). Prior to that, his experience spanned OTC pharma (Dimetapp), wireless services (Verizon), breakfast cereal (General Mills, Ralston Purina) and delicious frozen treats (Sara Lee), to name a few.
His greatest joy in this business is digging into customer insights and working closely with ridiculously smart people to turn those insights into compelling, unforgettable brand stories.
Terry is a graduate of the University of Virginia, and a native New Yorker. He lives in Manhattan with his wife, Joan, and two sons, Brendan and Jack.
