YouTube Pharma Brand Strategist

Priya is an insights and brand creative strategist for YouTube, in Google’s Pharmaceutical and Over-The-Counter Medications division. She consults with brand teams and their creative and media agency partners to plan YouTube campaigns tapping into relevant audience insights and creative best practices to achieve their awareness, consideration and conversion objectives.

Priya’s career has been deeply healthcare focused, with diverse roles including field sales for Eli Lilly’s Prozac and Zyprexa, to Public Relations, to HCP and Consumer advertising. Priya has been partnering closely with sales reps, brand teams, doctors and patients to deliver impactful sales and marketing results, with a heavy focus on new drug launches across TV, digital and social.

Recently, at McCANN Health, Priya led a multiple award-winning insight-driven brand strategy for the Stelara Psoriasis “Moments that Matter campaign,” and the Stelara Crohn’s Disease and Tremfya Psoriasis consumer launches. During that time, Priya worked closely with Google, and had such a good experience that she decided to join the company in 2018.

Priya lives in Brooklyn with her husband and mini-Bernedoodle and enjoys every opportunity to make the world a healthier place. Priya earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from McGill University and holds an MBA in Marketing from the Rutgers School of Business.
