Abbey Berryman is Senior Vice President, Client Partnerships, NBCUniversal Advertising & Partnerships, specializing in Automotive, Pharma and Travel. In this role, she serves as an advocate for NBCUniversal’s brand partners within the Automotive, Pharma, and Travel categories, and acts as a liaison between the brand and NBCU’s evolving portfolio of advertising and partnership offerings. Berryman reports into Karen Kovacs, Executive Vice President, Client Partnerships, NBCUniversal Advertising & Partnerships. Berryman is a pioneering, driven, and passionate senior executive with more than 25 years experience in the industry. She is an award-winning leader who has successfully directed business operations including new business development, financial oversight and talent management across disciplines. Before joining NBCU, Berryman was President of Global Business Operations at global media advertising and digital marketing firm, Denstu Aegis Network. In her seven year tenure at Dentsu, Berryman served as the principal executive on the General Motors account, one of the agency’s largest global clients. Prior to Dentsu Aegis Network, Berryman spent five years at Starcom Worldwide where she focused on strategic national multimedia plans and management for high-volume brands at General Motors. At Starcom, Berryman led the development, execution and stewardship of large-scale advertising launches including the Cadillac Escalade as well as the Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic, General Motors’ first youth-targeted vehicles. She also managed multimedia partnerships including the Super Bowl and NFL, Billboard Music Awards, MLB and NCAA Football and more. Berryman is a graduate of the Eli Broad School of Business and Michigan State University. She works out of NBCUniversal’s Detroit office.
